At the urging of everyone, my friend finally decided to join the 21st century and got an iphone. Like everyone else, he had heard all the hype about Steve Jobs, and the iPhone being the greatest technological advancement to come along since the personal computer.
he had a personal computer at home and have no problem navigating the Internet, checking his email, or using Microsoft Word. But after having his iPhone for over three months, he still couldn't do much more than he could with his old Flip Phone. And, anytime he tried to go into his iPhone's settings or visit the App Store, he got completely overwhelmed.
he went to Barnes and Noble to see if they had an instruction manual for this thing but the books were all huge and would require way more time than he was willing to invest. Next, he checked out Google but soon found himself hopping all over the place. Two hours later he still hadn't found any useful information and wound up watching funny cat videos over at YouTube. Not a real good use of his time!
He really needed something that would hold his hand and take him step-by-step, assuming he literally knew nothing about his iPhone and completely guide him along the way.
A few weeks later he saw an ad for iPhone Video Lessons at a website called Touch Screen Genius. he watched their video and realized this was exactly what he needed. What really sold him though was the 60-day money back guarantee. he figured if he didn't learn what I needed during that time, he was hopeless, and could just ask for his money back.
Well, I don't think he will need to take advantage of the money back guarantee because he is learning more than he ever thought was possible. These aren't "cheesy" camera videos of someone using their phone but illustrated, step-by-step video tutorials. They really tap into his need to learn things visually and not through some book.
Overall, he is very pleased with these videos. He even emailed the guy Andrew (who runs the website) with a question he had and he got back to him in just a couple hours. Talk about service.
His wife has been watching the videos too, and she is learning even more than he. he get excited when they learn something new and can show each other. It seems like all the frustration they had with our iPhone is gone.
He siad he would definitely recommend these to others and have even told a couple of guys at work about them. Here's a link to the website if you want to check it out. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE IPHONE LESSONS
